12 x 24"
acrylic on panel

Riding the wave that just won’t quit • Started this piece in the summer of 2020, as the pandemic was in full force, and it seemed like everyday brought more and more news of bleakness and distress. From the confides of my makeshift studio space, I started painting larger pieces and experimenting with texture and layers, clinging to these moments of light, hoping the seemingly relentless thrash of mere existence would subside.
